Peaceful Peaks & Temple Vibes

#summervacay Mt. Cheontae in the Yeongdong area is one of those lowkey spots that totally delivers without trying too hard. The trail isn’t wild or super steep, just a nice, steady climb through quiet forest paths that feel like a nature spa. It’s calm, green, and honestly kinda meditative. One of the coolest surprises was the temple tucked along the way. Totally peaceful, incense in the air, monks doing their thing, it just added this really chill vibe to the whole hike. I ended up sitting there for a bit, just soaking in the silence. As you get closer to the top, the views start peeking through the trees, and they’re gorgeous. Not dramatic cliffs or anything, but that wide, rolling countryside that just makes you wanna stay a while. There weren’t many people around either, which made it feel even more special. If you’re into laid-back hiking with a little bit of soul, Mt. Cheontae is seriously worth checking out.
