Summer in Yuxi: Apu Dumu Cultural Park.

Apu Dumu Cultural Park is located at the confluence of the Lianjiang and Nijiang Rivers in Eshan County, covering an area of 19.73 mu. The park has bronze statues of Apu Dumu and his six sons, a sacrificial square, a two-story pedestal, and six reliefs embedded around it. These facilities not only showcase the history and culture of the Yi people, but also become a sacred place for Yi people across the country to seek their roots and worship their ancestors. Apu Dumu is the common ancestor of the Yi people. He married three wives and had six sons, who later developed into the six major tribes of the ancient Yi people. They migrated to Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Guangxi, known as the "Six Ancestors Branches" in history.
