Fenyi County Hemp Museum.

Fenyi Hemp Museum is the first museum in China with a hemp theme, integrating "natural science popularization, historical research, intangible cultural heritage inheritance, cultural exchange, and interactive experience" into a new type of theme museum. The museum covers an area of 4,678 square meters (7 acres), with a total construction area of 14,000 square meters, including 5,000 square meters of exhibition space on the first floor; the second floor has an office and conference area of 3,400 square meters, including a science and education hall of more than 1,000 square meters for two to three hundred people to study and exchange. The main building of Fenyi Hemp Museum and the auxiliary buildings of Ma Yi Street have a total investment of about 80 million yuan, and the exhibition of the hemp museum is 37 million yuan. Fenyi Hemp Museum is divided into seven exhibition halls: "Ingenious Work of Nature", "Ancestor of Clothing for Ten Thousand Years", "Ancient Craftsmanship", "Inheritance of Hemp Art", "New World Hemp", "New Song of Hemp Township", and "Hemp Wisdom and Enlightenment", with the main exhibition contents of hemp culture history, summer cloth skills and modern hemp life, and the narrative clues of exploring hemp, knowing hemp, understanding hemp and using hemp, using modern high-tech display technology such as sound, light and electricity, to spread the value concept of Oriental hemp textile life aesthetics, with the intention of building a world-class "Oriental aesthetics" hemp culture museum in Fenyi, making it a window to display hemp art culture and a driving force to promote the hemp industry. Currently, the museum has purchased 271 exhibits, of which 115 are on display.
