The loop is just a little over 5 km, so I went light — no backpack, no water, even skipped breakfast (personal choice!). It’s an easy walk, especially in perfect cool spring weather, and surprisingly pleasant even on an empty stomach. I started my journey at 7:30 a.m., arriving around 10:00, and the train was already quite full. If you’re planning to go, start early — later trains can get packed fast since the blossom window is short and everyone wants a glimpse.
