Austere temples at Shinobazu pond

#cherryblossom25 One of the best sights to see in Ueno Park, Tokyo Japan is the Shinobazu pond area. In that area are various religious sites like the Shinobazu Pond Benten Temple, which is illuminated by numerous lanterns and the Shinobazu Pond Benten Daikokutendo, dedicated to the deity of fortune and wealth. During our visit, even at night there are still a lot of visitors which is there for sight seeing like us, or just offering some prayers and incense. Of course, the pond itself serves as somewhat of a mirror reflecting the city lights of Uenokoen. #uenopark #shinobazupond #tokyo
