#cherryblossom25 Spring is ever so fleeting. The morning weather wasn’t exactly great, yet the urge to see cherry blossoms couldn’t be held back. Before another string of rainy days could arrive, I made my way to Togō-ji Temple to catch a glimpse of its magnificent weeping cherry blossoms in full bloom. Unlike the hustle and bustle of central Tokyo, the morning here was calm and kind. Locals greeted one another warmly, and when passing the temple gate, everyone instinctively took out their phones to capture the flowers in bloom. The anxiety about blossom updates that often fills social media felt so distant here. The massive weeping cherry trees have never once missed their promise with spring. A breeze stirred their branches, sending a flurry of petals dancing down beside me. It hit me then—on the next sunny day, this breathtaking sight might already be gone. But that’s okay. "Ichigo ichie"—this once-in-a-lifetime encounter—is exactly the kind of romance that cherry blossoms embody. And in the next spring, I know we’ll meet again. 🌸🍃 #travel
