Peaceful Trails & Peak Feels at Baekdeoksan

#summervacay Baekdeoksan was such a chill surprise! It’s one of those mountains that doesn’t scream for attention but ends up totally stealing the show. The trail starts off with cozy forest vibes, super quiet, just the sound of your boots on the path and birds doing their thing. It’s not a crazy steep hike, just steady and peaceful all the way up. As you climb higher, the trees thin out a bit and the views start popping through. By the time you hit the summit, it’s like nature opened up a big panoramic window. Mountain ranges stretching forever, cool breeze, and best of all, it wasn’t packed with people. I brought some gimbap, found a sunny rock to sit on, and just chilled for a while. Baekdeoksan isn’t flashy or intense, but that’s what makes it perfect. Great for clearing your head and soaking in Gangwon-do’s nature without the crowds. Definitely one of those spots I’d go back to again just for the calm.
