Gifu Park

Gifu Park (岐阜公園) is a public park located at the base of Mount Kinka in the city of Gifu. It is easily accessible from Gify JR Station by Meitetsu Bus.There are many attractions, including the Gifu City Museum of History, the Eizō & Tōichi Katō Memorial Art Museum, the Nawa Insect Museum, Mt. Kinka Ropeway and of course Gifu Castle & Mount Kinka as the highlight. There is also the site of the Residence of Nobunaga as the former warlord made his military campaign with Gifu as his base.
