This is Yuyan Academy, also known as Luofeng Temple, located next to Xiangxue Park. It was first built in the Southern Song Dynasty and has a history of more than 800 years. It is also one of the earliest and best preserved academies in Guangzhou. It has always been a popular place for celebrities and scholars to visit. The temple preserves poems, calligraphy, paintings and plaques by famous scholars. Today, it is a unique cultural building that combines academy, ancestral hall, temple and garden. Yuyan Academy is built on the mountainside and shaped according to the terrain. The pavilions are connected, the corridors are winding, the fish ponds are waterside pavilions, and the pavilions and waterfalls are distributed among them. The appearance is majestic and solemn, and the environment is quiet and elegant.
