I explored the Nansha Puzhou Fort with my kid, a place that was once filled with smoke of gunpowder but was extinguished by history - the Nansha Puzhou Fort. ✨ Puzhou Fort is located in the Nansha Islands and was an important coastal defense fortress during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The architectural style here is unique. The stone walls have stood in the sea breeze for hundreds of years, telling the vicissitudes of history. Now, it has become a place for study tours. ✨It is named because it is located on Puzhou Mountain. During the K-Japanese War, the defenders here bravely resisted the invading Japanese army and played an important role in the defense of Guangzhou. Later, it was captured by the Japanese army and the cannons were dismantled. There are three existing gun pits, which are typical breech-loading gun pits. Walk up from the foot of the mountain to the top and you can see the medicine storehouse and the artillery position. ✨After being opened to the outside world in 2020, it has also become an important education base. It is worth mentioning the "LED Time Road" of Puzhoushan Fort, which is 25 meters long.
