🔹This is a lesser-known historical site, the Puzhou Battery in Nansha, located on Puzhou Mountain beside Dajiao Mountain in Luning Village, Nansha Street, Nansha District, Guangzhou. It's near the Nansha Passenger Port Station of Line 4, and inside the Nansha Bay Bus Terminal, there is a small uphill path that leads directly there. According to 'Overview of Nansha', Puzhou Battery was an ancient maritime defense military facility, built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty, and was an important part of the early Nansha fortifications of the Tiger's Mouth Fortress. 🔸In addition to visiting the battery ruins to learn about the history of the Opium Wars, you can also enjoy the sea view here. From Puzhou Battery, you can see the Humen Bridge, and across the river is Humen, Dongguan.
