Guangzhou 5-Day 4-Night Family Trip – Chimelong Safari Park || Location: Qingdao-Guangzhou Took the 7:05 AM flight, and since I was traveling alone with my child, I opted for an upgrade at the gate. Arrived at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport at noon, collected our luggage, and took a taxi directly to Chimelong Panda Hotel in Guangzhou. In the afternoon, upon reaching Panda Hotel, we decided to store our luggage due to the long check-in queue and began our intense 4-hour adventure. On the hotel's second floor, there's a bus outside the lobby that goes directly to the zoo's South Gate. 【Stop 1】Bear Forest After entering through the South Gate, turn right toward Bear Forest. Don’t rush to see the flamingos first, as you’ll pass their exhibit when exiting. 【Stop 2】Animal Hospital Follow the path downhill to the right, leading to the Animal Hospital entrance. The hospital isn’t large but features a bird egg incubation room, baby flamingos, baby parrots, and an educational lecture hall. 【Stop 3】Chimpanzee Exhibit After visiting the Animal Hospital, head downstairs to the Chimpanzee Exhibit. 【Stop 4】Cable Car Ride After the chimps, follow the path to the Panda Paradise Cable Car Station entrance. There are 3 cable car routes; we chose the "Swan Lake Line" to reach the mini train. 【Stop 5】Mini Train Ride At the cable car’s final stop, you’ll find the mini train entrance. The ride lasts about 30 minutes, ending where it started. 【Stop 6】Braving Qinglong Mountain After the train, turn right into Qinglong Mountain, featuring artificial dinosaurs and monkeys. 【Stop 7】White Tiger Jump Show After Qinglong Mountain, catch the White Tiger Jump performance. 【Stop 8】Baihu Mountain Post-show, visit Baihu Mountain to see tigers and tiger cubs. 【Stop 9】Giraffe Plaza After the tiger cubs, turn left from the shop into Giraffe Plaza for up-close viewing and feeding. Feeding requires buying branches (¥30/weekday, ¥50/holiday). Break the branch into pieces to prolong the experience. Great photo spot too! 【Stop 10】Koala Garden 🐨 Opposite Giraffe Plaza is the Koala Garden entrance, home to many koalas. Exiting through the Koala Restaurant leads to the Elephant Exhibit. 【Stop 11】Elephant Garden Features Asian elephants and calves. If lucky, you might see keepers interacting with them or baby elephants playfully waving their trunks. 【Stop 12】Panda Village After elephants, backtrack to the Koala Restaurant’s arched entrance (Panda Paradise) and follow arrows to Panda Village. Here, you’ll find the famous triplets Meng, Shuai, and Ku, plus Mei Guifei. 【Stop 13】Huaguo Mountain After the movie, exit the shop straight into Huaguo Mountain for macaques and sloths. This is also the parade viewing area, featuring an orange mini train for photos. 【Stop 14】Parade After the parade, follow arrows to exit via the South Gate, passing the Flamingo Garden.
