| I'm unilaterally declaring this the best downtown hotel! OMG, who understands?! Stayed in a Santorini in the clouds in downtown Guilin for just over 200 RMB per person!! Wake up every day to the picturesque Lijiang River, and it's a 6-minute walk downstairs to Elephant Trunk Hill. What a steal!! 📍Li River Cloud Hotel, Guilin 📍No. 2 Zhongshan Middle Road, Xiangshan District (Downtown Core Area) ✨Exclusive Viewing Angle The 9th-floor double-decker infinity pool 🏊 is breathtakingly beautiful!! The pink and blue color scheme is like bringing Greece to Guilin. 🛋️Just lie back on a lounge chair and enjoy the city skyline. The sunset by the pool in the evening was so beautiful I took 500 photos!! My phone storage was completely full. 😭 You can also lie on the rooftop terrace and see Elephant Trunk Hill. This view is unique to Guilin!! 🚶Step Out into Scenic Spots Elephant Trunk Hill ⛰️ (600m across the road) / Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas (10-min walk) Two Rivers and Four Lakes Wharf (5 min to Wenchang Bridge Wharf) / Zhengyang Pedestrian Street & East and West Alley (15-min stroll and snack) The hotel 🏨 is surrounded by core attractions. Who doesn't want the joy of sightseeing without sore feet? 🛏Stay in a Landscape Painting The tatami viewing room I stayed in this time was amazing!! The 180° floor-to-ceiling windows frame the Lijiang River and Guilin's landscape into a moving oil painting. Waking up to the morning sun ☀️ is so healing~ The room is equipped with a tea set, which made this Chaoshan native ecstatic!! 🍜The food is just as amazing!! The freshly cooked rice noodles for breakfast were incredibly fragrant!! The marinade is the soul!! As a rice noodle lover, I had three bowls!! There's also freshly ground soy milk with fried dough sticks, and tofu pudding. Since tofu pudding can be sweet or savory, my friend from northern China and I had a sweet vs. savory debate. 💯Amazing Service My friend suddenly got her period in the middle of the night, and the receptionist appeared within five minutes with hot water and sanitary products, speaking as gently as a sister. 😭 A robot 🤖 helped deliver takeout to the room, and when the sheets got dirty, they offered to replace them with new ones and even washed the dirty ones for free. This service beats some five-star hotels!! Trust me, girls!! After staying here, you'll look down on other hotels!! Looking at photos of hotels I've stayed in before, they all look like they're in Syria, you know what I mean?!
