The East-West Lane is right downstairs! Guilin truly didn't disappoint!

I recently took my kid 🧒 to Guilin, and "the best scenery under heaven" isn't just an empty phrase - it left such a lasting impression! Since we drove 🚗 and had quite a bit of luggage, we stayed in downtown Guilin. We spent 3 nights at this hotel near the pedestrian street and were very satisfied overall 😀 First, the location is excellent - it's right at the entrance of Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, very prominent and easy to find. Second, the East-West Lane is just across the street, only a 2-minute walk through the underground passage. Jingjiang Prince's Palace, Xiaoyao Tower, Sun and Moon Pagodas, and Elephant Trunk Hill are all nearby - we walked to all of them. My child didn't complain about being tired at all. Binjiang Road 🌳 is truly beautiful and full of life. We booked a family room with 2 beds - one regular king-size bed and one castle-style bunk bed. My child was so excited 🥰 they kept saying "wow" from the moment we entered. They would climb up to the castle bed, then crawl into the tent 🏕️, then shoot some hoops - we couldn't get them to leave. We ended up delaying our sightseeing schedule by over an hour! Our room wasn't on a high floor so we didn't have much of a view, but the rooftop restaurant was a wonderful surprise 🎉 It felt like we were "looking down upon all mountains," with amazing views overlooking the entire East-West Lane. There's also a beautiful mountain opposite - the restaurant staff told us it's Duxiu Peak ⛰️ in the Prince's Palace. The name really fits the "standing alone in excellence" feeling hhhhhh The hotel's food 🥪 is also good. Breakfast is buffet-style with a decent variety and standard quality. You can ask the staff to cook fresh Guilin rice noodles 🍜, then add your own toppings - it's really delicious when mixed. The service is great too - everyone speaks softly with a smile.
