Guilin family trip is legendary! The kids played so much they didn’t want to leave, and the parents lounged so much they didn’t want to get up

Summer vacation is once again a holiday for exhausted moms taking care of kids. I started picking the perfect room a month in advance. My little one chose this place: 🪐 Elephant Trunk Hill Port Hotel · The location is fantastic, just 1️⃣ minute downstairs to the Cultural Palace Food Street, and on the way back you can grab some sweet soup or milk tea, so delightful. ♨️ East-West Alley ♨️ Jingjiang Princes’ City ♨️ Xiaoyao Building, all just a few minutes’ walk. If it’s too hot, there’s a bus stop downstairs, or you can rent a little yellow bike 🛵 to ride slowly there. Taking a taxi 🚗 to major attractions is also just the starting fare, only a few minutes away. · The room is quite spacious, with one double bed plus one single bed, enough for two adults and one child, but the single bed is quite big, so two kids can easily share it. There’s a comforting plush toy 🧸 on the bed, and when you open the door, there’s a children’s tent 🏕️ that makes the kids laugh out loud. The family-friendly amenities are very complete, including children’s body wash, hand soap, laundry detergent, children’s toothbrush, and slippers 🥿 — more thoughtful than a mom. · 🔆 Nearby activities: 🔖 Zhengyang Pedestrian Food Street: Ate all along here, every place different, recommend the Little Red Riding Hood sticky rice, Grandma Ting’s sauced fried tofu, and sour beef intestines. 🔖 East-West Alley: An old alley from the Ming and Qing dynasties, full of historical charm, lots of food but fewer street snacks, great for taking photos. 🔖 Jingjiang Princes’ City: You can experience the imperial examination (answering with a brush pen is very fun), and watch the top scholar’s robe parade. 🔖 Elephant Trunk Hill: Shaped like an elephant, beautiful scenery, you can ride a bamboo raft. There are many cultural and creative shops around, it’s Guilin locals’ own jellycat~ · 💌 Their breakfast is simply amazing! 🍜 After trying it, I have a whole new appreciation for Guilin rice noodles — soft texture and you can add lots of toppings~ · I declare this holiday, I don’t know if the kids’ energy is all used up, but I am truly recharged 😄
