Yunlin Gukeng Scenic Spot - Muma Ancient Trail to See Bamboo Forest

Shibi Scenic Area in Caoling Village, Gukeng Township, Yunlin County, was originally a plank road for transporting timber. With the efforts of the Shibi community, it was rebuilt into a leisure trail. The starting point of the ancient trail is the Wuyuan Erjiao Community Recreation Green Corridor in Liliao, and the end point is the Shibi Dongbi Mountain Villa Coffee Estate. Along the way, there are mixed forests of Moso bamboo and cedar, passing by bamboo pavilions, ecological ponds, charcoal kiln ruins, and high-point viewing platforms where you can overlook the peaks of Jianan Yunfeng and Shibi Mountain. The Yangmieliao High-altitude Plank Road (Skywalk) allows you to admire the towering Japanese cedar up close. The Moso bamboo stands tall and straight, and it looks beautiful when you look up.
