Huwei Old Iron Bridge-Qingpu Bald Cypress Secret Land, a picturesque free attraction

#MarchGoodPlaces2025 I didn’t expect that there is a secret place of bald cypress in the small town of Huwei in Yunlin County! Located near the Huwei Sugar Factory, beside the riverbank road on the east side of the Huwei Iron Bridge, there is a "Qingpu Bald Cypress Secret Realm", which is actually the private garden of former Yunlin County Magistrate Chang Rongwei. Although the bald cypress park is not large, the pond, stone steps, and small hills make for an exotic look in photos. The bald cypress and the sky are reflected in the water, with alternating yellow, green, and red colors, creating a beauty like that of a Nordic country. Although the Qingpu Bald Cypress Secret Realm is private land, it is open to the public for free, which is quite kind. However, it is probably more convenient to get there by car.
