Romantic Getaway: A Dreamy Journey at InterContinental Hangzhou Liangzhu

I recently discovered a hidden gem for weekend road trips around the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area and Hangzhou staycations—InterContinental Hangzhou Liangzhu Hotel 🏨 I absolutely love staying here! 🌆 The hotel location is fantastic, right next to "Jade Bird Market," an open-air shopping, dining, and art center that's a paradise for young people. There are countless Instagram-worthy spots for photos 📷 Plus, they host occasional art exhibitions with an amazing artistic atmosphere. When you get tired of exploring, the delicious food options will satisfy your taste buds~ 🚗 It's super convenient to visit Liangzhu Archaeological Site Park from the hotel. The park is huge, and you can rent tandem bikes or electric vehicles 🛵 If you don't want to cycle, you can take the park's shuttle, or simply enjoy a leisurely walk. The deer garden 🦌 gives you that Nara, Japan photo vibe. The Liangzhu Museum and Version Hall are also worth visiting, but note they're closed on Mondays—I unfortunately missed out 😭 🍽 After sightseeing, don't miss the food! Jade Bird Market has tons of delicious options, and the beef rib hot pot 🥘 on the hotel's first floor is a must-try—the meat is tender, the soup is freshly made, and it's perfect for two. The hotel lobby bar's afternoon tea is visually stunning—the Ferris wheel bunny squad kids' afternoon tea features a Ferris wheel design with a rabbit theme and exquisite, adorable desserts that my little one loved. The seafood buffet dinner offers fresh ingredients and diverse dishes. The hotel features foreign bands performing Thursday through Saturday, which is quite relaxing. On weekends, the hotel hosts parent-child DIY activities—in April, they made qingtuan (green rice balls) and kites, which the kids absolutely loved. 🛏 I stayed in a Ferris wheel view room, where you can see the romantic Ferris wheel 🎡 from bed at night. The large bathtub in the room is super relaxing 🛀 The executive lounge is stylish, offering light dinner and free-flowing drinks in the evening 🥂 If you're driving, don't worry about parking—the hotel offers free parking, which is very thoughtful 🚗 Don't miss this hidden gem when visiting Hangzhou—every casual photo looks amazing, and all your eating, drinking, and entertainment needs are covered.
