Anduo Hezuo Milarepa Nine-Story Buddhist Pavilion

On the eighth day, we arrived at the Milarepa Buddhist Pavilion located in Hezuo City, Anduo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu. Its full name is "Anduo Hezuo Milarepa Nine-Story Buddhist Pavilion." Although the name is a bit long, it clearly explains its identity. It was originally built in the 42nd year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1777), but the original pavilion was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. The existing building was reconstructed in May 1988 and completed after four years. The Milarepa Buddhist Pavilion was built to commemorate Milarepa. It is a representative monastery of the Kagyu sect (White Sect) of Tibetan Buddhism in the Anduo Tibetan area.
