The pagoda was built during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty (1727-1732), and was a Buddhist pagoda in the original Cideng Temple. The Vajrasana Relic Pagoda is built with brick and stone structure, the tower is about 13 meters high, built on a rectangular Vajrasana on the base, below is the Sumeru seat, the waist part is brick-carved lions, elephants, Dharma wheels, golden-winged birds, and Vajra pestle patterns; The lower part of the seat is inlaid with the Vajra Sutra written in Mongolian, Tibetan, and Sanskrit.
