Eat in Tsim Sha Tsui | Red Leaf Tea House | Must-try Matcha Latte

Wof and my friends made an appointment to have dinner in #Tsim Sha Tsui East a few days ago, and chose "Hongye Tea House" whose original store is in Kamakura, Japan. I like the sense of space and wooden style of "Red Leaf Tea House". My friend ordered the grilled eel with chazuke rice ($138). Please refer to "How to enjoy chazuke rice" for details. The tea-stained rice can be ordered with a choice of bonito kelp soup or a fragrant shrimp soup. My friend chose the bonito kelp soup, which reminded her of the taste she had in Japan. Both the chazuke rice and set meals come with two side dishes, which we had that night were shredded burdock and pickled radish. The shredded burdock is delicious and beneficial. Waffles ordered the Wagyu Beef Sukiyaki Set ($178). The Wagyu beef was quite large and had a good texture. The tofu had a strong bean flavor and the sukiyaki sauce had just the right amount of sweetness. In addition to the set meal, I ordered the fried food set ($88), and chose three out of five, including shrimp, Hiroshima oysters and tofu fish cakes. I liked the tofu fish cakes the most, which were crispy and delicious. As for drinks, Waffle's #matchalatte($38) is so delicious, with a emerald green color and a strong tea flavor without being astringent or too sweet. My friend was very satisfied with the Ice Cream Matcha Latte ($45). The finale dessert is the Red Leaf Sweet Three Flavors ($88), which consists of milk pudding, blueberry tiramisu and Yubari melon soft serve ice cream.
