Hong Kong's Tsz Gong Ling - a hiking route known as the Hong Kong version of Wugong Mountain

Tsz Gong Ling is located in Sha Tin, Hong Kong. It is a hiking route less than half an hour's drive from the Futian Port. On Sundays, we lead a group to this mountain range, known as the Hong Kong version of Wugong Mountain. The route is very easy, and the fun of the mountains and fields lies in the different scenery you can experience on different routes. You can see the bustling skyscrapers of Shenzhen in the distance, and the tranquility of the traditional Yuen Long villages of Hong Kong up close. In addition, there are large rocks and meadows stretching for 2-3 km along the ridgeline. It is indeed a picture of the fusion of city and nature. The weather on the day of departure was not very good, but it saved us from the pain of being exposed to the sun on the ridgeline. This route has no supplies along the way, with a total length of about 7.54 km and an elevation gain of less than 700 m. It is considered the closest and easiest route on the border between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. The highest altitude is 564 m, and the total climb for the day is about 604 m. Enter the first section of the climb from the trailhead, which is about 2.11 km long and has an elevation gain of about 374 m; the second section is about 2.15 km long and has an elevation gain of about 189 m. After reaching the top of the mountain, it is expected to be 3.28 km downhill. Whether the sky is clear or cloudy, you can always have a good view on the ridgeline.
