Nathan Hotel Review: A Beloved Spot for Cross-Border Workers

As someone who commutes between Shenzhen and Hong Kong every month, I finally got to check out Nathan Hotel on Nathan Road! It's just one MTR stop to Tsim Sha Tsui, two stops to Mong Kok, and a 7-minute ride to West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station. For someone like me who frequently travels between the two cities, this location is unbeatable! 💁 Thoughtful Service for Detail Lovers At check-in, the front desk noticed I was carrying a laptop and proactively offered me a room with a desk. The housekeeping staff even coiled my charging cable into a bow and placed it on the desk, and leaned the bottled water against the fridge door—so satisfying for my OCD! The turndown service was the cherry on top: next to the Himalayan salt lamp was a handwritten card saying, "The temperature difference is significant today; a light blanket is prepared in the wardrobe." It truly warmed my heart as a hardworking commuter. 🛏 Spacious and Stylish Rooms I booked a city-view room for HKD 1,800 for two nights. At 28㎡, it's quite spacious by Hong Kong standards! Above the bed hung a painting of Nathan Road by a local artist, giving off old Hong Kong movie vibes when lit at night. The window design is fantastic—during the day, you can see the neon signs of Temple Street, and at night, closing the curtains transforms the room into a cozy, dark retreat. However, as it's a renovated older building, there are minor flaws: the bathroom drain is a bit slow, and the air conditioning takes about 10 minutes to adjust.
