Hong Kong Disneyland Hollywood Hotel Guide｜A Must-Read for Families with Kids!!

Oh my goodness, family! 😭 Staying at the Disneyland Hollywood Hotel turned out to be a major disappointment! Although the "Mickey and Friends Themed Room" was a hit with the kids—they were screaming with excitement the moment we walked in 🥳—the overall experience was a mix of laughter and tears… Take note! Starting from April 2024, the hotel will no longer provide complimentary toiletries! You’ll have to purchase a set at the front desk for HK$40. The toothbrush feels as flimsy as a broom, and the cute little pouch they give you is practically useless—just a decorative item at best. If you’re staying with kids, make sure to bring your own toiletries! Other than the slippers with a touch of Disney elements, the Disney vibe in the room is really underwhelming 😢. The only consolation is the photo-worthy wall in the lobby 📸, and the outdoor Mickey decorations are quite heartwarming. Unfortunately, my kid was so exhausted upon arrival that they fell asleep immediately, missing out on all the activities. In summary, the themed room is great for parents who want to fulfill their child’s Disney dream, but the value for money is really not great… Next time, I’m definitely heading straight to the Explorer’s Lodge!
