The earth building has a two-story structure, with the outer layer being a tall defensive wall and the inner layer being a living space. The design of Eryi Tower combines the functions of defense, residence and public life, reflecting the people's emphasis on security and unity at that time. Eryi Tower is an outstanding representative of traditional Chinese architecture and is listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site. This time we were fortunate to have a tour guide introduce it to us. It was really shocking to see the original appearance of the building. Going into the interior to visit it, we could really feel the wisdom of our ancestors.
