Hua'an County, home to the World Heritage Hakka Earth Buildings

It is under the jurisdiction of Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. Located at the northern end of Zhangzhou City, southern Fujian Province, it covers an area of 1315 square kilometers. The resident population is 134,200. The regional GDP is 21.4 billion yuan. It is a National Forest Park, a National Ecological Construction Demonstration County, and a National Key Ecological Function Zone. Hua'an Earth Building is listed in the 'World Cultural Heritage List', Dongxi Kiln Site is listed in the 'Important Historical Sites of the Maritime Silk Road in China' for the first batch of applications for World Heritage, and the Hakka Earth Building Construction Skills and Gaoshan Ethnic Hand Dance are listed in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
