Tours save time and eliminate the hassle of transfers, making them a top choice for travel enthusiasts. You can depart from various locations, and there are plenty of tour buses available. As soon as you step off the bus, the view hits you: over 200 wooden houses lined up along the bay, with boats docked on the first floor and people living on the second. The sea reflects the blue sky like a mirror, accompanied by the sound of seagulls and the hum of fishing boat engines. Is this place even real? Welcome to Ine Funaya. 🏠 Sipping coffee at "Funaya Biyori" is a must! Ine Town, Yosano District Hungry and eager, I headed straight to the popular café "Funaya Biyori Ine Cafe," only to be stunned by the long queue (weekends are indeed crowded 👯♀️). But the window seats made it all worthwhile! The view of the gradient blue sea paired with the café's homemade coffee and desserts was simply delightful. What’s it like to be "robbed" by seagulls on a sightseeing boat? Ine Bay Sightseeing Cruise After satisfying my hunger, I hopped on the Ine Bay sightseeing boat. Tickets need to be purchased on-site, so bring cash. As soon as the boat started moving, I encountered "airborne thieves"—a dozen seagulls chasing the boat and getting up close and personal! Frantically, I pulled out shrimp crackers to feed them, only to have them snatched away with precision (pro tip: hold your hand higher, don’t ask how I know 😅). Looking back at the Funaya houses from the sea is even more breathtaking. Wooden lattice windows reveal clothes drying inside, while elderly women sun-dry fish on the terraces. It feels like stepping into a parallel world forgotten by time.
