The shrine enshrines the mythical water god "Ama-mura Un-myō" (also known as Tian-no-deer Un-myō), who is said to have brought water seeds to the mortal world to solve the water source problem in Takamagahara. He is the guardian god of irrigation and harvest. This is also one of the ancestral gods of the "Warai clan", the abbot of Ise Shrine, and is inseparable from the local historical bloodline. Although it is a small shrine, the sacred area is quiet and the two sides of the shrine are green. It is especially suitable for walking and praying in the morning or evening.
