A fascinating city that straddles Europe and Asia, blending Eastern and Western cultures, with history and vitality in every corner. During this trip, I deeply felt its unique charm. The Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Camii) is one of the most iconic buildings in Istanbul. When you enter the mosque, you can see the dome covered with blue tiles when you look up. The sunlight shines through the stained glass windows, making it look solemn and peaceful. I particularly like the atmosphere here. Even though there are so many tourists, you can still feel the inner peace. Next, I took a Bosphorus Cruise and sailed along the Bosphorus Strait to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Istanbul's European and Asian sides. During the voyage, you can see palaces and fortresses from the Ottoman Empire as well as modern buildings. The blend of old and new is amazing. I chose a sunset cruise. The setting sun was reflected on the sea, and the golden afterglow added a touch of romance to the city. At the end of the trip, I experienced a traditional Turkish bath (Hammam). As soon as you enter the bathhouse, you will be surrounded by warm steam, followed by a professional scrubbing and bubble massage to completely relax your whole body. Although I was not used to this method at first, my skin felt smooth and my body and mind felt relaxed after it was done. It was indeed an unforgettable experience. The charm of Istanbul lies in its diverse culture, beautiful architecture and rich experiences. Whether you are a history lover, a food explorer or someone who enjoys slow travel, you can find your own wonderful moments in this city.
