Jiande Aviation Town

Located in the southwest of Jiande City, Hangzhou, 18 km from Jiande City, on the golden tourist route of Hangzhou-Qiandao Lake-Huangshan. Formerly Hengshan Steel Plant, which went bankrupt in 2003, Jiande City transformed the old Hengshan Steel Plant area in 2013, incorporating aviation elements. In 2015, Jiande Aviation Town was selected as one of the first characteristic towns in Hangzhou. In 2018, the construction of a national 4A-level scenic spot was launched, and the general aviation headquarters of Zhejiang Province was completed in the same year. With the overall layout of "three axes and five zones", it creates an aviation industry service axis, an aviation display and theme entertainment axis, and an aviation town tourism experience axis, and builds five functional areas: the far-sailing world, the aviation factory, the aviation camp, the exhibition garden, and the happy aviation town.
