I found Nezha's sacred mountain, just a 2-hour drive from Chengdu!

Qianyuanshan After recently watching the movie "Nezha 2," I revisited Qianyuanshan in Jiangyou, Sichuan, the sacred training ground of Taiyi Zhenren and Nezha. It's a 2.5-hour drive from Chengdu, perfect for a weekend hike, outing, or spring sightseeing trip. A day trip is totally doable. Those without a car can also join a one-day tour group, which is very convenient. If you're thinking of going this weekend, just do it! ✅ Hiking Route Reference 1. Starting at the foot of the mountain, hike along the ancient plank road for about 1 hour, arriving at Jinguang Cave around 11:30 am. Here you can replenish your energy, eat food you brought, or try the local vegetarian meal. 2. After lunch and a rest, head to Yinguang Cave, estimated arrival around 1:30 pm. 3. Around 2:00 pm, proceed to the mountaintop viewing platform. You'll pass Nezha's Tomb and the Crown Prince Temple along the way. 4. Descend and return along the same route around 3:00 pm. ✅ Scenic Spot Details 🎫 Tickets: Free; Incense offerings are available inside, donations are welcome. 🅿 Parking Fee: 10 yuan/car, free parking spaces are marked along the roadside. 🍚 Meals: Vegetarian meals are available at both Yinguang Cave and Jinguang Cave, 15 yuan/person. 🔆 Best Time to Visit: Spring and summer, the caves are cool and pleasant, perfect for escaping the heat. 💚 Jinguang Cave Also known as Taiyi Cave, the cave is deep and mysterious, with ancient stone carvings faintly visible on the stone walls. Outside the cave, there are spectacular cliffs, and from the cave entrance, you can overlook the mountains. 💚 Yinguang Cave Yinguang Cave is deeper than Jinguang Cave, windy, and very dark. You'll need a flashlight to explore inside. It's a completely undeveloped and mysterious place. 💚 Nezha's Tomb Legend has it that after Nezha returned his flesh and bones to his parents, Taiyi Zhenren used lotus roots to rebuild his body. His original body was buried in Qianyuanshan. Around the tomb, there are stone tablets, carvings, and other cultural relics, and incense offerings are made. 💚 Hanging Wooden Plank Road (currently destroyed) Hike through the mountains, with cliffs on the left and a precipice on the right. Experience the thrill of the wooden plank road! ‼️ However, the wooden plank road on the cliff has recently collapsed due to age and disrepair, and is currently under maintenance!
