Just got back from Banna and stayed at the Banna Riverside Hotel! It’s right in the heart of the Gozhuang area, just a few minutes’ walk to dive into the Starlight Night Market for food and shopping, and you can turn around and retreat to the tranquility of the Lancang River. The relaxed travel vibe is instantly maximized~ I have to rave about their river view rooms! The 180° unobstructed river view is amazing. In the morning, you can open your eyes to see the river shimmering with golden light. The bathtub room I booked was an extra surprise—bathing while watching the sparkling Mekong River creates an incredible atmosphere. The smart voice-controlled room system is super convenient; just a voice command adjusts the lights and temperature. They also provide premium toiletries and a minibar, making the stay very comfortable. The rooftop infinity pool is a photo paradise! Take pictures during afternoon tea, and in the evening, wait for a sunset that turns the river into a warm golden sea. Every snap looks like a cinematic masterpiece. There are also many thoughtful details that impressed me! You can enjoy free airport and station pick-up with advance reservation, and there’s free parking for self-driving guests, which is very convenient. Breakfast is a Dai-style Chinese buffet with authentic flavors that never get boring even after several days.
