Millennium Renli

Millennium Renli, Ming and Qing Street. This place has produced many talents; it was the playground of late Qing dynasty businessman Hu Xueyan during his childhood and is also the starting point of the ancient Huizhou-Hangzhou road. There is a saying, 'Small Jixi County, big Renli Village.' Renli is designed in the shape of a turtle and was first built during the Southern and Northern Dynasties, with a history of over 1500 years. The village still retains a large number of buildings from the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. The locals live here in peace and contentment. Every inch of land bears witness to the passage of time and reveals traces of life. The ancient town is small but beautiful, with typical Huizhou architecture featuring white walls and gray tiles. The eaves and roof tiles are adorned with wood and stone carvings, showcasing its refinement and uniqueness. This place is built along the water, with a river right outside the village.
