Johor Bahru Day Trip Plan Review 📍 Trip Introduction We left Singapore and went on a day trip to Johor Bahru. It was a great trip where we could enjoy a day in Johor Bahru, which is full of various foods and things to do! 🚩 Travel Route 1. Singapore -> Johor Bahru We arrived at CIQ by bus, but we arrived late due to traffic congestion, so we had our first meal at Kyochon Chicken. 2. After shopping, we checked into Airbnb at R&F Shopping Mall. We went swimming while watching the sunset, and after swimming, we had pork belly and kimchi stew at Hanam Pork Restaurant in the mall. 3. The next morning, we had lunch at O'clock Bagel with delicious bagels and curry. The taste and interior made me feel like I was in Korea. 4. After attending a ring making workshop at Chuno Studio DIY Ring 5. We ended the day with shrimp fishing and BBQ in an area called Austin. 🏖️ Landmark - CIQ is a shopping mall right across the Johor Bahru immigration checkpoint. There are many hotels, various shops, and cafes around the area. - R&F Shopping Mall was great for spending time not only shopping but also eating. - Austin was a fun experience with nature, and shrimp fishing and BBQ were especially memorable! A new water park was built and it felt like a new city. 🚇 Transportation After taking a bus to CIQ, you can easily travel to each destination by taxi or walking. 📷 Photo Spot - The beautiful exterior and indoor photos of R&F Shopping Mall were impressive. - The sunset and night view photos taken after swimming were really beautiful. 🍜 Recommended Restaurants - Kyochon Chicken: Chicken that's perfect for a quick meal at CIQ - Hanam Pork House: I could taste Korean food with pork belly and kimchi stew inside the shopping mall. - O'clock Bagel: There are many kinds of bagels and the atmosphere is good. 🏠 Recommended accommodation - I stayed comfortably for one night at an Airbnb near R&F Shopping Mall. I really liked the cleanliness and convenient location. 💡 Notes - Consider the traffic time and plan enough time for buses and taxis. There may be traffic jams during rush hour. - Since the weather in Johor Bahru is hot, it is good to drink water often and prepare for the heat. It was a day of various experiences that can be enjoyed in Johor Bahru, which is close to Singapore.
