Kaiping Diaolou - Zili Village

📍Kaiping Diaolou and Villages are located in Zili Village, Kaiping City, Jiangmen, Guangdong. They are a special type of Chinese vernacular architecture, integrating defense, residence, and Chinese and Western architectural art, and showcasing a residential style that combines Chinese and Western elements. 🌟Most of the diaolou in Zili Village were built in the 1920s and 1930s by local overseas Chinese to protect the lives and property of their relatives in their hometown.
