Kakegawa Flower and Bird Garden

#ShizuokaTourism This facility is wonderful. It was fun to have an interaction experience that you can't usually have. The price is not as high as other facilities, so I think it's a reasonable price. There were not only flying birds but also penguins. You can hold the penguins and take photos for a fee on a first-come, first-served basis. When I say holding them, I mean taking photos with them while they're on your lap, but I don't think there are many facilities where you can interact with penguins to this extent. I went on a Sunday, but it seems like they were all sold out by 9:30. In addition to penguins, you can also take photos with owls. The photo fee was also reasonable. I think everyone gets to feed the parakeets, but they seemed to get full in the latter half of the day, and there were times when they didn't eat very well lol. If you feed them early, more will come. They seem to release different parakeets at different times, so I'm sure they'll flock to you at those times. There is a wide variety of cute souvenirs, but there are only two cash registers, and it gets very crowded just before closing time, so it's best to choose your souvenirs early.
