Experience the precious Showa retro atmosphere at Gyokusuikan!

Izu Atagawa Onsen Gyokusuikan Gyokusuikan is currently closed due to renovation work. It is scheduled to open as "Miharuya" in a few months. I stayed here just before it closed to experience the Showa retro atmosphere that is on the verge of extinction. I booked a room-attached bath, which is limited to 5 groups per day. The bath attached to the room also uses hot spring water, so you can enjoy the hot spring at your leisure whenever you like. And the food is delicious! The quantity and taste are very satisfying! They even serve sweet and delicious sweet potatoes for a midnight snack. The building and rooms have a great Showa retro atmosphere. It was such a wonderful inn that it's sad to think that I will never be able to experience this atmosphere again.
