Izu Atagawa Onsen Gyokusuikan Gyokusuikan is currently closed due to renovation work. It is scheduled to open as "Miharuya" in a few months. I stayed here to experience the old-fashioned Showa retro atmosphere. I reserved a room-attached bath, which is limited to 5 groups per day. The bath attached to the room also uses hot spring water, so you can enjoy the hot spring at your leisure whenever you like. But the best part of Gyokusuikan is the open-air bath! The trees growing above create a jungle-like atmosphere. The changing room is outside, but don't worry, it is very well maintained.
