I went to the Monastery of St. Nicholas Anapafsas. About an hour's walk from the center of Kalambaka, you will come across the first of the seven monasteries, the Monastery of St. Nicholas Anapafsas. Each monastery in Meteora has different days of the week when it is closed, so you need to check in advance.
