Kayakoy in Dalaman, explore the history of Türkiye!

🌟🇹🇷Turkey is a country full of history and culture, and Kayakoy in Dalaman is one of its treasures. 🌍🌟 🌍🌟After arriving in Istanbul, we flew directly to Dalaman Airport in Mugla Province on the southwest coast of Turkey without stopping, and then drove to the small town of Oludeniz next to Dalaman. 🏰🌟 🏰🌟It was about 3pm and we decided to go to Kayakoy, an open-air museum included in the Turkish Museum Pass. 🌍🌟 🌍🌟Kayakoy was once an Orthodox Greek village with a history of thousands of years. In 1923, more than 6,000 residents left their homeland overnight, and the village became a ruin. 🏰🌟 🏰🌟The town has about 2,500 buildings built on the hillside. Many houses have reservoirs next to them. The shape of the windows and some remaining signs on the walls retain traces of the beliefs of the old people. 🌍🌟 🌍🌟We walked around for more than two hours, but only walked less than half of the way. The old school, church and ruins of Kayakoy make people feel the weight of history. 🏰🌟 🏰🌟On the way back to Oludeniz, the bare white surface of the mountains was dyed red by the sunset, so magnificent that it made people feel lost. 🌍🌟
