Exploring Koh Phangan – Beaches, Scooters & Night Markets

Koh Phangan is famous for its Full Moon Party, but there’s so much more to this island! We spent our time exploring hidden beaches, riding scooters through scenic roads, and indulging in the best local food at night markets. 🏝️ Beach Hopping on Scooters Renting a scooter was the best decision—we had total freedom to explore! Some of our favorite beaches: ✔️ Haad Yuan – Clear water and soft sand, great for swimming. ✔️ Haad Rin (Sunset Beach) – A chill vibe during the day, but crazy at night during the Full Moon Party! ✔️ Secret Beach – A hidden gem with an amazing sunset view. 🌙 Night Market Food Adventures The night markets on Koh Phangan are a foodie’s paradise! We tried: 🍢 Grilled meat skewers with spicy dipping sauce 🍜 Authentic Thai curries 🥭 Fresh mango sticky rice 🍹 Ice-cold fruit shakes – perfect after a hot day on the bike! 🛵 Getting Around Scooters were our main mode of transport, and riding around the island was an adventure in itself. The roads can be steep in some places, but the views were worth it! Just make sure to wear a helmet and go slow on tricky roads. 💡 Tips for Koh Phangan ✅ Rent a scooter to explore the island freely. ✅ Try food at the night markets—it’s fresh, cheap, and delicious. ✅ Some roads are steep—be careful, especially if you’re new to scooters. ✅ If you’re here for the Full Moon Party, book accommodation in advance!
