Discover Lake Holon

From Davao City, Philippines, I took a bus to General Santos City and transfered to a van going to T'boli, South Cotabato. Then a bumpy habal-habal ride took us from T'boli town proper to the jump off point in Salacafe. Lake Holon is accessible through 2 trails, Salacafe and Kule. Salacafe is an easier trail that only takes 3-4 hours whereas Kule is more difficult trails that takes about 5-6 hours to the Lake. I took the latter it passes by the view deck. It was really tiring but the view was worth it. When I visited there were only 2 other campers there so it was really peaceful. I was thankful that I took 2 sweaters with me because it was so cold during the night. I also took the chance to swim in the lake even if it was freezing cold. Visiting Lake Holon is one of my favourite travel memories. I would really love to be back. 💙 #nature #lake #travel #philippines
