75 million year old shell cemetery

The 75 million year old shell cemetery is located on the beach of Ban Laem Pho, in the northeast of Nopparat Thara Park. It is a wide stone platform extending into the sea. When you look closely, you will see the remains of shells pressed tightly together to form a rocky beach by the sea. These shells have piled up and there is water mixed with lime elements that have hardened into rocks on top of a layer of lignite and shale. #NatureTourism
