Kristiansand is a seaside resort city and municipality in Agder county, Norway. As of January 2020, the city's population is approximately 112,000, following the incorporation of the municipalities of Sognefjord and Sondarin into the Greater Kristiansand municipality. Tourism is important in Kristiansand, with the summer being the most popular time for tourists. Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park is the largest zoo in Norway. It receives more than 900,000 visitors each year.
