Follow the navigation signs towards Shizhuang, pass Shuangtangzi, and then detour to Fairy Pond. 2⃣Car rental: From Kunming, first navigate to Shizhuang. Once there, park at the basketball court and take a local driver's car (150 CNY for a single trip, 300 CNY for a round trip). Contact information is available on the wall near the basketball court, and you can also find drivers on the roadside. The drive takes about half an hour. 3⃣Hiking: Navigate to the Lanniping parking lot and follow the road upwards. The hike is about 7 km, ascending from 3,100 to 3,700 meters above sea level.
