To Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture

Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture The Yamato Museum in Kure City was temporarily closed for renovation in February of this year, and opened as a Yamato Museum Satellite in a facility a little further away. The facility has models of Zero Fighters and Yamatos, so even though it's called a satellite, it has quite a lot of stuff. In the facility between Kure Station and the Yamato Museum, you'll find Sanbashiya Cafe. There is a wide variety of menu items, but this time I ordered a milkshake. The milkshake is rich but not too sweet, so it's easy to drink and very delicious. Spending time looking out the window at the Seto Inland Sea is also a great way to enjoy Kure.
