[Kyoto] A hidden gem but a lovely garden

This garden, located about a five-minute walk from Nanzenji Temple in Kyoto, was absolutely beautiful. Murin-an is a garden that also houses Western and Japanese-style buildings, and we were able to see a teahouse that is said to have been involved with Sen no Rikyu. I went in December, but the guide said spring is the best time to visit as all the trees have their beautiful new green leaves. I would like to go again because the atmosphere is different when you visit in a different season. Why not drop by on your way back from famous sightseeing spots such as Nanzenji Temple and Suirokaku?
