Baoding | Baishishan Scenery

Baishishan is located in Laiyuan County, Baoding, Hebei, at the northernmost end of the Taihang Mountains. It is composed of more than 100 peaks of varying heights, with the main peak at an altitude of 2,096 meters. During the Warring States period, the mountain was the boundary between the states of Yan and Zhao, and during the Liao and Song dynasties, it was the boundary between the two countries. Baishishan is named after the white marble that covers the mountain, and is a new type of peak forest landform in China. ➤ Highlights ❶ Peak Forest: The peak forest of Baishishan is a wonder, with peaks of various shapes like a painting, combining magnificence and beauty. ❷ Sea of Clouds: If you're lucky, you can enjoy the dreamlike sea of clouds, with clouds and mist swirling between the peaks, like a fairyland. ❸ Cool Canyon: There are many canyons in the mountain, with babbling streams and lush trees.
