Wat Phra Borommathat Tung Yang, Uttaradit Province An important temple in Tung Yang, built since the late Sukhothai period, during the reign of King Maha Thammaracha I or Phraya Lithai, which locals generally call Wat Borommathat. It is beautiful with a viharn that combines Lanna and Ayutthaya styles. The top of the chedi is a Mon-Burmese pagoda arch.
