Perfect place for a solo traveller 🗺️

#solotravel My solo trip to Linz was a delightful mix of modern art, history, and scenic views! 🏙️ Located on the Danube River, this Austrian gem surprised me with its vibrant culture and welcoming vibe. My first stop was the Ars Electronica Center, often called the “Museum of the Future.” The entry fee was around 10 euros, and it was worth every cent. The interactive exhibits on technology and art were mind-blowing! 🖥️🎨 Afterwards, I took a stroll through the Old Town, where the charming narrow streets led me to the majestic Linz Cathedral (Mariendom). This place is a must-see, with its stunning Gothic architecture and peaceful atmosphere. Don’t forget to climb the tower for an incredible view over the city! 🏰 The Hauptplatz, one of the largest squares in Austria, was bustling with activity, perfect for people-watching and grabbing a coffee. ☕ A highlight of my trip was the Pöstlingberg hill. I took the vintage tram up to the top, and the panoramic views of Linz and the Danube were breathtaking! 🌄 It’s also home to the fairy-tale-like Pöstlingberg Church and a cute little grotto railway, which brought out the kid in me.
